The project cost S$6.59 billion and covers an area of 49 hectares. It was built by the Genting Group of Malaysia and opened in early 2010. It is managed by Genting Singapore Limited. Sentosa Island is known as the most fascinating Singapore holiday island. It covers an area of 400 hectares and has a variety of entertainment facilities and leisure activities. It is known as the “Gambling Gems”. It used to be a small fishing village, transformed into a military base after being occupied by the British, and then transformed into a leisurely and beautiful resort in 1972.
